at the mo: its summer holidays, i learnt to skate, so ive been skating, surfing, swimming, attempting to look mildly tanned :)

I haven't edited these photos at all. The light in the farmhouse shots was just so perfect I think editing them would ruin it. But the others might need a little bit of help. Since I went to a very country town, and would inevtibly end up covered in red dirt, I didn't pack any particularly nice outfits and am looking forward to taking some more 'fashion-y' pictures soon :)
I fell in love with the horses whilst away; they lived in a paddock across the road and I visited them almost everyday, to feed them carrots or just give them a pat. They were so pretty!

Project Picture

I have just started a new photography project, in an attempt to explore photography more, find some new concept ideas and take some photos of things i wouldn't have thought about shooting before. I took the list from Monster Children magazine to use for this blog project.

1. Shoot a girl.
2. Somethign that makes you happy.
3. Next Meal.
4. Shoot your wheels.
5. Shoot a self portrait.
6. Shoot the view from your window.
7.Shoot your workspace.
8. Shoot your favourite pair of shoes.
9. Shoot something funny.
10. Shoot a friend.
11. Shoot your collection. ( This was supposed to be your record collection, but I thought any collection might make it a bit more open and interesting.)

I am going to this in any order, and just post as I go. It could be fun to play along, so feel free to share this list on your own blog. I have started with number 4, shoot your wheels.




[okay, so I am not actually this colour. My brother and I were playing on photoshop, and I accidentally saved over the original photos, leaving me with this beautiful, oompa-loompa-worthy complexion]
These 'wheels' actually belong to my friend Brooke. But her skateboard is much cooler than mine, and has been living at my house for a while, so I used it for my photos :)
Since it is almost Summer now, ( and since I am not old enough to drive!) I think a z-flex  is the perfect mode of transport :]

1. My Camera

2. Jordan Taylah Business cards. I have tonnes of these around the place.

3. This Wallet. Oh, I Love It. It is vintage, leather, and has horses and flowers embossed on it. And you know what makes it even better? My great grandfather made it.

4. My dad's camera, which I have sort of taken over lately. It takes beautiful, lovely, magical, beautiful beautiful pictures, with a touch of graininess from the film, and softness from the 50mm lens.

5. Stamps for Georgia.

6.Paw Paw ointment. The wonder-stuff.

7. Ellie's Lip Balm. I keep meaning to give it back.

8. Every one should carry a plastic dinosaur. It is entirely practical.

9. Mints. These are those ones you get from vending machines in shopping centre bathrooms. I really only buy them because I think they are such a novelty.

10. A little pocket I made with some vintage fabric scraps. It jus keeps all my little things neat and together, like pens and earrings.

11. Jeans Zipper. I am working on a project with this in it at the moment. I promise it is not jeans.

12. iPod. It's a second generation nano. Woah, oldschool ;)

13. Sunglasses.

14.Phone.

15. The little notebook which doesn't have a number :s  It is full of lists: places to go, things I have to do, blog post ideas, gift lists etc.
